A. Obstacles or Opportunities?


1. Noah built an ark in the desertwhile his neighbors laughed at him.

2.Abraham and Sarah believed that God would give them a son even though Sarah's womb was barren.

3. David stepped forward to fightGoliath while everyone told him he was too young.

4.Benaiah killed a lion in a pit on a snowy day.

B. Ordinary people see obstacles


1. The failures of ourpast seem too big to overcome.

The failures of our past are no match for God's Grace.

Don't allow the voices of your critics drown out the voice of God.

2. God can't do that can He?

We see life from a very limited perspective.

God sees our entire life at once.


C. Lion Chasers see opportunities.


1. Lion Chasers know that our past preparesus for our future.

Overcoming the failures of your past offers convincing truth of God's power and grace. Romans 8:37

2.Lion Chasrers believe that God can and willaccomplish His devine purposes in our lives.

Lion Chasers set God-sized goals in life Romans 8:28

Lion Chasers know that despite troubleand hardship God's love for us remains steadfast. Romans 8:38, 39
